Cookers for Sale

The Aga really is the heart of the home and has been for many generations. Our reconditioned Aga cookers have all been given a second lease of life and could be the heart of your home for many years to come.

All our reconditioned cookers are fully re-enamelled in a range of colours, internal cast iron parts are shot blasted and replaced where necessary. All chrome fittings, lid and door liners and oven tunnels are replaced along with installation of modern super-efficient insulation. The original build quality of these cast iron cookers is second to none, testified by the number of original Aga cookers still in people’s homes, some dating back to the 1940s! We don’t believe in throw away culture, as is the case with many modern appliances, so in our opinion re-conditioning a cooker is far better for the environment than manufacturing a new one. To top it off reconditioned cookers are a fraction of the cost when compared to buying new.

Our Range of Aga Cookers

We offer our reconditioned Agas almost exclusively as electric cookers (oil models available on request) giving you the option of the traditional always on electric Aga, or the new generation controllable model - the eControl. Please contact us for friendly advice on which option would suit your needs.

The eControl Aga

Aga & Rayburn cookers

Perfect for the modern family home, the eControl offers the familiar cast iron cooking experience, without the need to run the Aga 24/7.

The eControl gives you total control over your Aga. With dual controls for the hotplates and selectable oven temperatures, the eControl Aga gives infinite flexibility to fit in with modern demands. eControl Aga cookers can operate as intermittent appliances rather than having to be on all the time like a traditional Aga. This can significantly reduce running costs and carbon footprints as well as improving comfort during warmer periods. Our eControl Agas do not require a chimney so can be located anywhere in the kitchen.

Aga & Rayburn cookers

The traditional Always On Aga

Aga & Rayburn cookers

For those of us who like the simplicity and comfort, not to mention the instant cooking ability of the traditional Aga, we offer the ‘always on’ electric models.

These traditional models use a low powered electric element to maintain a stable temperature 24/7 giving the traditional radiant heat cooking and familiar warmth to the kitchen. Thermostatic oven control maintains the Aga at the optimum temperature, with the option of turning down during the summer months (this will lower the oven temperature proportionately). The high efficiency insulation reduces running costs in comparison with the older 13amp Agas while still providing a constant background heat to the room.

All models feature 2 hotplates, one for boiling one for simmering, both ready to use whenever the Aga is on. 4 oven models have an additional warming plate above the left hand ovens. 2 oven models feature a Roasting and Simmering oven, with 4 oven models having the extra baking and warming ovens. 3 oven models are available with roasting, baking and simmering ovens.

Running from a 13amp supply, with options for external or room venting, the traditional always on Aga gives simple flexibility using the original Aga heat storage design. These models are ideal for anyone who wants to utilise excess power from their own renewables such as solar PV, wind turbines or hydroelectric.
